McKenzie Kreations sells one-of-a-kind garments and jewellery. This page describes exactly what this website collects, why, and who else can see it. It describes the site as it is built, not as a general statement of intent.

What is collected, and only when you ask for a piece

Browsing this site collects nothing about you personally. Information is recorded only when you submit an acquisition request:

• Your name, email address and telephone number — so the atelier can reply to you and send an invoice.
• Body measurements — height, chest or bust, waist, hip, inseam, and your usual size, together with the exact text you typed. A garment is finished to these; without them it cannot be made.
• Fit notes and any occasion you describe, in your words.
• A one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address. The address itself is never stored. The hash exists to detect abuse of the reservation system and to resolve disputes about who requested a piece first. It cannot be reversed into an address.
• Your browser's user-agent string, for the same purpose.

Measurements are personal and are treated as such. They are used to make your piece and to discuss fit with you. They are not used for anything else, and they are never sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a profile.

Cookies

This site sets one cookie, named mk_bag. It holds a random identifier so the bag remembers what you put in it. It contains no personal information, is not readable by scripts, is not shared with any other site, and expires after 30 days. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party trackers.

Who else can see your information

• Cloudflare hosts this site and its database. Data is stored in the United States.
• Square processes payment. When you buy, you complete the purchase on Square's own page, and your card details are given directly to Square. This website never receives, handles or stores card numbers. Square's own privacy terms apply to that step.
• If email notification is enabled, an email delivery provider carries the atelier's own notifications. Those contain your request.

Nobody else. Your information is not sold, rented, or given to advertisers.

How long it is kept

Request and order records are retained while your commission is in progress and afterwards as a record of sale and provenance, since each piece carries a certificate tied to its owner. If you would like your record removed, write to the address below and it will be deleted except where a completed sale must be retained for tax or accounting purposes.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to CONTACT EMAIL NEEDED and the request will be answered.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, or state privacy laws such as the CCPA. Those rights are honoured regardless of where you are.

Children

This site is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
